Coast Controls now manufactures a Remote Sensor Assembly

Sarasota, FL based Coast Controls Inc., announced that they now manufacture a Remote Sensor Assembly, which allows operators to adjust the position of the air-flow sensor “on-the-fly”.  This gives operators greater flexibility in making web width adjustments from a remote location. The unit’s frame is constructed of aluminum tubing and comes with a universal mounting bracket.  Units can be manufactured to accommodate web widths up to 130”.  A hand held “on/off” toggle switch allows the operator to activate a small electrical motor for continuous or intermittent bursts, which positions the air-flow sensor.  The remote sensor can be added as an option to new Coast web guiding equipment as well as retrofitting existing Coast units. Coast has been manufactured several of these “Remote Sensor” assemblies for various major plastic film converters within the past year.  Coast manufactures a wide range of guiding systems which are capable of guiding up to 130”.  For more information on the many products Coast Controls manufactures go to
