All of Coast Controls Idler Rollers can be customized with extra features or outer coatings. Some of the options we offer are listed below but are not limited to the following. If there is an idler attribute you need that you do not see listed here, please feel free to inquire about it. We strive to meet all of our customer's needs.

Grooves remove the trapped air between the roller and material to maintain constant traction between the roller and web material.

Hardcoat Anodized

Anodizing aluminum protects the roller from corrosion allowing for improved lubrication, adhesion, and coloring.

Knurling features a consistent pattern on the roller surface and provides a better 'grip' for your web material.

Plasma Coating

Plasma is a traction and release coating. It's best used in processes where traction control is needed.

Polyurethane Coated

Polyurethane features a superior abrasion resistance and the ability to withstand high temperatures.

Reverse Crown

With a smaller diameter in the center than on the ends, a Reverse Crown is tapered to spread the web out removing wrinkles.

Rubber Cork Tape

Cork & rubber co-polymer with acrylic adhesive.

Provides excellent grip for delicate materials.

Stainless Steel

- 304 Grade SS -

Higher wear resistance. Perfect for corrosive, high moisture, food and medical environments.

- 1045 Grade ST -

Withstands substantial loading from nips, wrap angle, high web tension, and up to 212°F.

Tension Sensing

- TSR -

Made of lightweight aluminum Montalvo engineers them to meet your specified load rating.

Designed to withstand rough environments, Urethane coatings are desired where cut, abrasion and oil resistance is necessary.
