Rewind Guides

Coupled with Montalvo tension controls to provide a complete system, Coast Controls Rewinders are sure to meet any application's demands.

Applications include (but are not limited to):

They arrive pre-piped, mounted on custom stands, and equipped with raceway assemblies. Dual shifting idlers are common with all shifting roll stands to ensure a properly maintained web plane through the sensor.

Rewind

Requirements for 
Rewinding guide applications:

  • A fixed idler roller is mounted independently of the rewind stand between the airflow sensor and the rewinding roll.
  • The air-flow sensor is attached to and moves in unison with the rewind stand to maintain a constant plane of the web through the sensor as the dia. of the rewinding roll increases.

SRS1 Rewind

Web widths up to 20 inches (508 mm)

This compact rewind system with 1.0-inch race rods on a single raceway assembly, accurately guides various narrow webs up to 20-inch wide. Supporting a weight up to 200 lbs. (90.7 kg), this cantilevered Shifting Roll Stand (SRS1) allows the operator total control of the web’s tension and alignment into the converting/printing process.

This cantilevered Shifting Roll Stand (SRS2), with 1.0-inch or 1.5-inch race rods on a dual raceway assembly, accurately unwinds various web widths and can support a load up to 5,000 lbs. (2268 kg). The operator can maintain total control of the web’s tension and alignment into the converting/printing process.

SRS4 Rewind

As our most customizable Shifting Roll Stand (SRS4), this rugged unit can easily shift up to 7,500 lbs. (3402 kg).

They come pre-piped, mounted on custom stands, and equipped with a dual raceway assembly using 1.0-inch, 1.5-inch, or 2.0-inch. diameter race rods. 

Perfect for industries with large and heavy loads to process.
